Celebrating meaninglessness

What we should live for:

What truly makes us feel fulfilled? Well honestly, I don't know for certain about anyone besides myself and for me I’d probably say love. What kind of love though? I’m still unsure on what brings me feelings of love exactly, but I feel as though to achieve any kind of love is an accomplishment of some sort. It takes effort and practice to love and be loved and while it may not be a physical accomplishment necessarily or one that brings you great health and money, it brings joy. The feeling of love is at least the most easy to understand emotion to me, it’s direct and you know when you feel it. For me when I feel love it’s like anything that could go wrong no longer worries me. I could die happy if I feel loved while I die and so if you could die happy doing something that should be what you pursue in life. If it is love you might have more in common with a noahist than you think. The point of love is to make the world better and more comfortable so people care. Therefore love is the most important and powerful emotion you should follow.

Behaviors:

Good and bad almost always appear to be based on knowledge on other’s opinions, what’s been learned throughout life, and the population’s base level morality and therefore good and bad should be defined merely by base level ethics rather than what others teach us which may not always be but is possible to be incorrect. I believe people are naturally neither good nor bad but goal orientated and therefore fluid in moral behavior. Also who’s to say there’s a true good or bad? I’d say good and bad are intent orientated. Intent is very important if one is to judge what’s right and what’s wrong. Intent is the very difference between good and bad. If one is intending to cause another a bad day then they are wrong from intent to action but, if one is emotionally drained and needing to act out in a socially unacceptable way let them do so. Say someone is blowing a gum bubble and you’re having a shitty day I believe you should have every right to pop the bubble and leave gum all over their face and without any consequence but with the expectation that they may act back by their emotions. It is based in fairness.

Free will:

Though you can believe in it, free will does not exist because everything will always fall into place as it's already been decided by the universe. In other words every piece that falls was already going to fall when it was thrown in the air and therefore was pre-decided by everything. I also believe that action is not always the causation for an equal reaction. For example if someone were to do something strange and law forbidding on a school bus it is up to the people whether or not the criminal gets in trouble rather than it being a direct causation from the crime.

Mental health:

Different mental healths are real and natural and should always be respected unless it’s an excuse to harm others.

Value in life:

Existence is meaningless but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth living. The noahist endures life so that they may discover and do what helps them know thyself better and what brings them to fulfillment so that when they die, they die happy and content, which is one of, if not, the greatest success possible. To die happy is to hold on to one’s last energy with joy and acceptance.

God:

In terms of whether there is a god as in a being we don’t know, that’s not to say god doesn’t exist. It is my belief that the true god however, is yourself and we are gods of our own worlds. The world brought us in and currently exists and when we die the world will bring us out and I and the world will no longer exist. Since god makes the decisions in our world it is safe to say we are all our own god, at least in some way. But also I believe in not being a theist or atheist but rather to walk blindly and be okay with that. In essence to be an unbeliever is to not believe but also not outright reject ideas.

Accepting Fate:

Everything has a fate but, also everything has a permanent cycle. We will all one day die, but it is likely we will also one day return in some way.

Death:

When you die your brain floods itself with energy guaranteeing an ending of some sort, meaning we all are certain to have our brains one day come to terms with death and whether positively or negatively our brains will accept it upon death. In other words each individual will have their own unique afterlife. Though it is definitely of a finite amount of time, as the brain will certainly die. The idea of death is I think therefore I am, so if I don’t think did I exist? Well I believe it might as well be a no. Also noahists should be against war, for war causes painful deaths and there is nothing worse than a painful death. Sending someone out with pain is purely wrong, so is inflicting any mental pain through any method onto somebody else.

Consciousness:

Simply an illusion related to perception. We do not know why it exists and possibly never will but, perhaps it’s purpose is to help us reach a higher level of thinking. The purpose of the idea of souls is to describe the indescribable effect of consciousness, which brings the illusion of choice which we would otherwise recognise is false.

Self discovery:

Noahism promotes all self discovery and experiences, good and bad as long as that does not include non-consensually harming others. I also believe these choices can assist someone in finding out better who they are, or at least someone would gain knowledge on what they don’t like. I also believe they may help oneself grow and connect with yourself.

Human rights:

Though noahists recognize we are animals, all humans deserve basic fundamental rights and the opportunity to prove themselves at least.

Reality:

Though reality is a construct based on memory and our senses, it is the closest thing to real. Though there is a lot we don’t know, we can almost always trust our senses to learn about our world and though memories die with you, it’s important to have the most memories possible, assuming you want to die knowing you’ve done a lot. Either way the noahist dies with no regrets and both good and bad experience.

Emotion:

There are five basic emotions, complex mixes of them and two kinds of emotion, emotion of rejection and acceptance. Rejection emotions are sadness, fear, and anger. You must always respect all emotion whether perceived as negative or positive which there is not either, rather there is emotions of rejection and acceptance. Your goals should always be based on emotions of acceptance.

What humanity is:

Humanity is embracing your individuality and love for the world, but also humanity is believing you can change other beings' behavior for their own good. Many social normalities are purely wrong and if disagreed with should actively be stood against. The idea of training beings into being what you want them to be through locking them up or hurting them physically or mentally is wrong unless the being harms others in any way but not including offending others. I also believe eventually humankind will evolve into a being made up of beings with complexity beyond anything we’ve ever known or could understand.

Enlightenment:

Our goals in life should be to reach enlightenment and to die happily full of love. Enlightenment is goal we should all strive for. I believe permanent enlightenment it is one of the most important goals. Always search for something more.
